All of these are fed into my Oase Premium Drum, which
then feeds the Oase Bio-chamber – both of these I
managed to pick up as a second hand bargain when I
was in the planning stages of the new build.
The water is then returned to the pond via a BADU Eco
Touch which feeds a split return to my Bakki Shower
and my second underwater return. A VariFlow 20000
returns direct to the pond via my Delta UV Steriliser and
Heat Exchanger – the idea behind this is that in the
winter I can shut down the larger pump and run just the
single pump to reduce costs.

I laid paving around the pond to complete the sitting
area around the garden, and have completed the areas
for the kids and dogs. I’m now looking forward to the
warmer weather to sit outside and enjoy the new
garden with the family and friends who have all helped
achieve my dream goal. I was very lucky to have a lot of
support with this from friends, Graham Tagg, Jason
Saunders, Alfie Sherwood, Rob Wood, Paul Bunch and
my brother, Lee.
