In the days following the main installation, all of the
cables, pipework, etc were tidied to complete the
installation, so, from taking the basic principles of
the Evolve filter and shower, anything is possible.
Since installation, further discussions between Andy
and Ian have taken place and we are now about to
install a booster pump with pressure tank which has
adjustable pressure output to 5 bar. Pressurised
water will now be pumped to each of the three
Evolve drum systems (‘The Beast’, Evolve 6000 and
Evolve 2000) in that fish house. The Evolve water
tank, designed by Ian, seen underneath the pressure
pump is a water reservoir designed to provide a
sustainable flow to the pressure pump. The water
tank is in turn filled from a mains feed after passing
through a dechlorinator and is controlled by a float
switch mechanism.
The filter contains 300 litres
of K1, an extra size Jap Mat
cassette and 400 litres of
Crystal Bio in the shower.
Booster pump with pressure
tank has adjustable pressure
output to 5 bar which allows
pressurised water to be
pumped to each of the three
Evolve drum systems.
