The Essex Koi Keepers Club
The Essex Koi Keepers Club had their 2018/2019 Grow
and Show fish allocation meeting on Sunday 25th
March, with fish supplied by Mark from Cuttlebrook Koi.
The variety for this competition is Doitsu Kohaku and
Mark has supplied us with some excellent specimens.
He also very kindly brought them to the Young Koi
Show, along with all his other fish for his stand at the
show, which made collecting them from Detling so much
easier for our group. Many thanks to him for his help.
The fish were taken back to our secretary Anne
Badenoch’s house where they were kept for 48 hours to
let them settle, and then on Sunday the Club gathered
for the big share out.

All the fish were given a thorough health check by
John Botha and George Badenoch, our resident Koi
health officers, photographed and given a number.
