KOI CLUBS

Ceylon Koi Society (CKS) – Sri Lanka
Koi Hobbyists of Sri Lanka.

Ceylon Koi Society (CKS) was formed by a handful of Koi
hobbyists/enthusiasts in 2022. The members consist of
Residents / Non-Residents, Trade and Students. CKS is
the only active Koi Club in Sri Lanka.
Our mission is to promote the enjoyment and better
understanding of Koi and the hobby while enlarging the
hobby of koi keeping, breeding, appreciating, exhibiting,
and educating the public on the benefits of keeping Koi
and constantly improving methods of providing Koi with
safe and healthy environments.
Our vision is to be a Koi Society recognised as a
consistent contributor to the hobby in the country, region
and beyond.

The members are highly active in the CKS WhatsApp
group, and we share information, knowledge, and best
practices and support those who require assistance with
the hobby.

The Interim Exco meets online monthly, and CKS events
are held once in three months. The previous event was
the Inaugural CKS Koi sale on June 24th & June 25th
2023. The CKS newsletter ‘The Koi Keeper’ is published
quarterly.
