In this issue I feature Part 1 of the Koi Marathon which
was undertaken by a group of Koi judges and their
partners when they visited Kyoto and the 60th ZNA
International Koi Show, where 1,238 Koi were entered.
The weather has been changeable with fluctuating
temperatures leading up to Spring, which gives the
parasitic population in our ponds the opportunity to
attack our Koi before their immune system can protect
them. So I’ve included an article by Bernice Brewster to
let our newer Koi keepers know what to look out for.
