Anthony was part of the British Koi Keepers Society
(BKKS) Judging Standards Committee (JSC) since 2015
and a fully qualified Koi judge, having judged nationally
and internationally. To qualify as a judge took Anthony
many years of dedication, attending Koi Shows for
practical training and also taking yearly exams. With the
exams consisting of three sections – a written paper,
Koi appreciation and Koi varieties and Show
classifications. To form Grey’s Nishikigoi Ltd, he
unfortunately had to make the hard decision to step
down as a judge, due to a ruling stating no judge can
