The weather kept hot with blistering sunshine through
June, July and August, and although this summer has
been enjoyed by most of us, it hasn’t always been
                             much fun for our Koi.
Once the temperature reached 22ºC many of our Koi
started spawning and those readers who regularly
spawn their Koi benefitted from the higher
temperatures with their fry growing at fantastic rates.
But there was a downside to these high temperatures
which reached over 30ºC in some ponds and their
owners were faced with the unusual problem of
keeping the temperature of their ponds down!
