took place on the 29th/30th June,
with even more visitors than last year,

David Brown.
Our annual trip to the BKKS National Show is
always something to look forward to, so on Sunday
30th June I met up with some of my friends from The
THE BKKS South East Koi Club who had previously arranged to
share cars and looked forward to a great day out.

The journey from Kent takes about three hours, but
SHOW IS the sun was shining and with good company, a clear
ALWAYS road and everyone talking about Koi and the Koi
Show, the journey took no time at all.
WORTH We entered the Showground through a large marquee
VISITING where we paid our entry fee and were handed a free,
thick, A4 size Show programme. There were raffle
tickets on sale and the whole atmosphere was that of
expectation.
We continued into the Showground where a large
rectangle of exhibitors’ Show vats were set out in the
centre with the administration and trophy display in a
marquee at one end. On either side of the Show ring
were marquees with Koi dealers and manufacturers of
Reserve Grand Champion products for the Koi trade. We made our way round
and FD Friendship Award to see what was on offer, and there were some real

taking photos.
