CLUB VISIT ESSEX

KOI KEEPERS

Exchange pond visits with other Koi Clubs is a great
way to promote our hobby, learn how other Koi keepers
design and build their ponds, keep their Koi, and it’s a
good social event, particularly with the good weather
EXCHANGE we have been having.
POND VISITS So on Sunday 19th of July we boarded the minibus and

WITH OTHER set off to visit the members of the Essex Koi Keepers
Club, some of our members followed in cars. We
KOI CLUBS IS arrived at our first pond in Vange and were greeted by
A GREAT WAY our hosts Alan and Sue Cox where we were shown
down a pathway along the side of their house where
TO PROMOTE there were Japanese stepping stones tastefully guiding
us to their garden. We enjoyed bacon and sausage rolls
OUR HOBBY and plenty of tea and coffee. I’ve been here before

some years ago and remember how I was impressed
with their pond and garden.

convenient seat to enjoy our
bacon and sausage rolls.
