During the day Chris Savoury and his sons arrived and
set up their S&C Koi stand with a huge selection of
dry goods and vats with some very nice Koi for sale
and Nishikoi and Intra Labs who had travelled up from
Plymouth to join us too. Wakai Trees were there and
there was a display of bonsai, arts and crafts and free
face painting for the kids.
THE RAFFLE The raffle was one of, if not the best so far in the UK
this year – in my opinion. Prestige Koi and Koi Masters
WAS ONE OF each donated a Koi for the raffle and other sponsors
THE BEST supplied a huge selection of quality dry goods too.
SO FAR Our Main Sponsor this year was Shosha Koi. Mike
Hughes, Lee Bailey and their team have the pressures
of starting up a new Koi venture, but were so keen to
support our Show, we can’t thank you guys enough.
Making the investment in our Show while still having
to invest in their own premises demonstrates how this
company feels about supporting and growing the
hobby for years to come.
Another feature was the Kids’ Colouring Competition
to help introduce and encourage young blood into the
hobby, and we had a tent which was our Koi Learning
Area which displayed informative Koi videos and
documentaries.
