THIS YEAR This year our Show was judged by Bernie Woollands,
Carol McCall and Tony Sheffield, and while they
WE DID were carrying out their duties Liam Bess was busy
SOMETHING photographing the Koi in the Show. Liam is a very
talented Koi photographer, and being a Koi keeper
NEW WHEN WE himself knows how to be patient and get the best photo
without upsetting the Koi. Liam also publishes his
PRESENTED international Koi magazine ‘World of Nishikigoi’, which
THE AWARDS was on sale.
On Sunday the results were displayed and the
presentations were made. Pedigree Wholesale supplied
their Saki-Hikari food for the winners as usual.
We did something new this year moving away from the
standard presentation setup you see across most of the
Koi Shows in the UK. All of the winning rosettes were
mounted onto each vat, along with a banner for the
majors. We also tried to get the Koi into the presentation
photos, now it was time for me, as Show Chairman, to
Ged McElvaney accepting
the Grand Champion award present each exhibitor with their trophies and
for his 78cm Kohaku. certificates alongside their vat.
Thanks to all our Show
sponsers for generously
supplying trophies, vats
and raffle prizes.

SPONSOR WAS
